CNC Machinist (Milling & Turning, Setting, Programming and Operating)
My Client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Setter/Programmer/Operator to work with a wide range of components in a well-established foundry environment.

About My Client:
My Client is a long‑established, foundry supplying ferrous and non‑ferrous castings to sectors including power generation, engine components, oil & gas, marine, pumps and compressors, construction, rail, agriculture and architecture.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC milling and turning centres with G-code and Fanuc controls
* Set and operate machining centres up to 4‑axis with G-code controls
* Programme new work and set existing programmes for small volume batch runs
* Select and set up tooling for a range of components (1kg to 750kg) in grey and nodular irons and aluminium
* Work accurately from customer machining drawings and 3D models
* Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures from scratch
* Ensure adherence to all health & safety and safe working practices
* Maintain a clean, organised work area and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a CNC Turner/Miller in a similar environment
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing techniques
* Confident checking component dimensions using a range of inspection equipment
* Ability to produce components to drawing tolerances and specifications
* Good organisational skills, problem‑solving ability and efficiency
