Job Types: 37.5 hours per week -Full time
Where: Stroud, GL6 6LS Resthaven Nursing Home, Pitchcombe
Salary: start £13.54 per hour, plus £1 per hour for weekend hours ( £14.54). Shifts finish at 7pm.
The hourly rate includes a £1 enhancement to reflect the Rural location of the home.

About you
You are likely to have at least 1 years experience as a cook and be interested in working within a caring environment. You will need good interpersonal and customer skills and enjoy working in a team. You will need to be keen to learn and work to a very high standard in food and personal hygiene. You will need to be flexible, as shifts will include days, weekends and evenings (evening shifts end at 7pm).

As a Cook you will be working for the Chef Manager and have a responsible and varied role providing a full catering service to our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring our high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained and all policies are followed. The catering team take pride in both food preparation and presentation and adapting to the varying needs or preferences of the residents. Shifts finish at 7pm.
