We’re working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is seeking an experienced Production Site Manager to lead operations across its Hereford and Telford sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing and operations management.
As the Production Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, quality control, site management, and Health & Safety. You’ll bring strong leadership and a problem-solving mindset to ensure that daily targets are met, and that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Managing the full production process to ensure efficient manufacturing and fulfilment.
Contributing to production planning, including job timings and machine scheduling.
Allocating resources effectively across both sites (people, machinery, materials).
Maintaining high quality standards through regular checks and testing.
Identifying and implementing process improvements for increased productivity.
Leading and developing production teams, managing all HR-related matters.
Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
Monitoring inventory and liaising with procurement to ensure materials are in stock.
Reporting on KPIs and production performance to senior management.
Resolving production issues and implementing lasting improvements.
Overseeing machine maintenance schedules and performance.
Ensuring clean and safe working environments via daily cleaning and checks.
Coordinating efficient machine changeovers to minimise downtime.
Providing operational cover for other managers when needed.
Managing engineering tasks, including parts ordering and machine capacity.
Overseeing site services such as pest control, waste, and fire safety compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
Strong leadership with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Effective time management and task prioritisation.
Competence with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
A good understanding of Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety practices.
