We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at the Hamers Arms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within pub, restaurant or hotel environments. This role involves supporting the management team in daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment.
* Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting effective communication.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, plan events, and implement promotional activities.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for food production.
* Assist in financial management tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector, preferably in restaurants, pubs or hotels.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.

Pay: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
