Quality LeaderLocation: Carrickmacross We’re looking for an experienced Quality Leader to drive food safety, quality performance, and compliance across site. This is a key role partnering with Operations to embed standards, lead audits, and build a strong culture of continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing: Lead technical support to production teams, ensuring standards and customer requirements are consistently met Take ownership of site audits, ensuring timely, accurate responses and successful outcomes Drive compliance with BRC, customer and internal quality standards (OPEX MS) Champion food safety culture and lead the “Go for Zero” safety agenda Act as key contact for production issues including supplier non-conformances and product release Manage supplier performance, complaints and relationships (including quarterly reviews) Lead technical projects such as hygiene and allergen validations, and product claims validation Ensure robust root cause investigations and drive site-wide learning Lead traceability exercises and mock recalls, ensuring audit readiness at all times Support production trials to ensure food safety and quality standards are achieved Deliver and embed training across HACCP, food hygiene and allergen awareness Use data and OPEX tools to drive continuous improvement and performance What we’re looking for: Essential: Proven experience in a Quality/Technical leadership role within food manufacturing Strong working knowledge of BRC and food safety standards HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 (or equivalent) Experience leading audits and managing non-conformances Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritise, organise and influence across teams Strong IT and report writing capability Desirable: Degree or background in Food Science / Technology Experience managing supplier relationships 8-step problem solving experience
