As part of the continued commitment to enhance customer experience, Bradford Travel Centre, a recently developed purpose-built unit on the upper concourse of Bradford Interchange, offers a modern and welcoming environment for both our staff and visitors. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Travel Centre Advisor on a fixed term basis. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, where you will provide support to a diverse range of customers, ensuring their needs are met with a high level of customer service and care. You will tailor your communication methods when assisting local residents to visiting tourists, ensuring that each customer has a positive experience.
As Travel Centre Advisor, your key responsibilities will include selling and issuing prepaid tickets, passes, and permits, as well as offering advice on bus and rail services. This isn’t your standard customer service or retail role. No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to learn new skills to progress within your career. The Role
Reporting to the Travel Centre Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
• To sell and/or issue prepaid tickets, passes and permits and issue passenger Information in accordance with laid down procedures.
• Provide advice for tourist and passenger information for bus and rail services.

About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
• Educated to GCSE level or have equivalent relevant education.
• Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
• Experience handing cash or card payments.
• Dedicated to providing high levels of customer service, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and on your own initiative.
• Experience of successfully identifying appropriate communication channels to deliver information in a customer focused environment.
