Key Responsibilities
:
Providing secretarial support to solicitors handling family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, and financial disputes
Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings
Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner
Opening, closing, and archiving client files in line with compliance procedures
Preparing court bundles and legal documents
General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and document management
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Family Law department
Excellent typing skills (audio and copy) and strong attention to detail
Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with care
Friendly and confident client-facing skills
