We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project & Programme Manager to lead the delivery of multiple car park and highway projects. This client-facing role demands strong commercial awareness and cost management expertise, as you’ll be accountable for budgets, contracts, and overall financial performance across your portfolio.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), office based with regular travel throughout the UK. We also offer flexibility, dependant on the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of end-to-end programme delivery, from planning, scoping and design to construction, handover, and post-project review.
* Act as the primary client contact, building trust through transparency, responsiveness, and delivery excellence.
* Develop robust project and programme budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
* Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement effective cost control measures to safeguard profitability.
* Oversee contracts, procurement, and supplier performance to ensure value for money and commercial compliance.
* Lead and balance resources effectively to meet scope, cost, and schedule objectives.
* Manage risks proactively, addressing issues before they impact time, cost, or quality.
* Provide clear reports and financial updates for clients, senior leadership, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project and programme management.
* Strong financial and commercial skills, with a background in cost management, budgetary control, and contract administration.
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of car park and highway designs
* Proficiency in reporting, financial tracking, and performance measurement.
* Professional certifications are desirable.
* A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to balance cost efficiency and quality delivery.
