Minor Works Project Manager
£29.89 - £40 Per hour
Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to deliver minor construction works for our commercial Aerospace client in Filton. Working for the centralised Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects of up to £100,000 in value across Filton, Bristol and Newport sites. You will need to have a strong background in construction management and an ability to gain SC Clearance to work on restricted Aerospace sites.
The role Is being offered on a 12-month contract basis, working a 35 hour week across Filton, Bristol and Newport sites. The role is offering a rate of £29.89 per hour PAYE or £40 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.
Responsibilities
* Creating a visual project plan that can be used for internal staff and contractors.
* Implement safety measures where appropriate to reduce the frequency of workplace accidents and injuries.
* Managing the project and subcontractors’ safety at all times.
* Implement financial controls such as margin control, application processes, final account negotiation, Schedule of rates, cost to complete.
* Set objectives in line with client needs, which will include scope, content, timings, and budget.
* Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time, Obtaining and reviewing risk assessment method statements from third parties.
Requirements
* Project management experience of construction projects with a value of £100,000.
* Experience managing concurrent running projects at one time.
* M&E works experience.
* IOSH Managing Safely Qualification.
* NEBOSH Qualification.
* Experience managing key stakeholders ranging from internal management to external labourers.
* CDM awareness.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
