The Finance Team at the University of Cumbria plays a crucial role in planning, monitoring, and reporting on the institution's financial resources. They provide data-driven analysis to aid decision-making and ensure that financial sustainability is integrated into all activities. Additionally, the team handles payment processing, income collection, and compliance with relevant financial, procurement, and estate-related laws and regulations.
We are in search of an individual with a methodical approach and great attention to detail who wants to play a critical part in supporting the Financial Management team. In this capacity, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure that our month-end processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner, providing further analysis and reports as required. You will support a range of activities and processes across the team including the preparation of journals, reconciliations and cash flow monitoring and recording of our fixed assets.
