Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour in a school or alternative provision setting? Our client, a large and inclusive academy based in Milton Keynes, is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Behaviour Coach to join their pastoral support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young people who require additional support to thrive in education. Key Responsibilities: Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis with SEMH and behavioural needs Work closely with the school’s pastoral and SEN team to implement effective behaviour strategies De-escalate situations and provide a calm, consistent approach to behaviour management Help students develop emotional regulation, resilience and coping strategies Support classroom engagement and re-integration into mainstream lessons where appropriate Maintain strong, professional relationships with students and staff The Ideal Candidate: Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges or within a PRU/alternative provision Is confident in managing behaviour and providing targeted interventions Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is resilient, patient, and passionate about improving student outcomes Has relevant training in behaviour management, trauma-informed practice, or similar (desirable but not essential) Please Note: Our client does not offer sponsorship.
