Your new role:
As Senior Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the end‑to‑end credit control process across a diverse portfolio of insurance clients and brokers. You will be responsible for credit assessments, setting and monitoring credit limits, managing aged debt, and working closely with underwriting, finance, andpliance teams to ensure effective crediternance. You will also act as a senior point of escalation within the team, support junior colleagues, help drive process improvements, and contribute insights that support thepany’s overall financial performance.
What you need to succeed:
1. Strong credit control experience within insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment
2. Proven ability to assess credit risk and make balanced,mercially sound decisions
3. Confidence managing stakeholder relationships across underwriting, finance, and external partners
4. Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members in a hands‑on, collaborative way
5. Excellent analytical, organisational, andmunication skills with strong attention to detail
6. Knowledge of FCA regulations and credit control best practice within a regulated framework
