Career Information Advice and Guidance Adviser (CIAG)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident adviser to work with offenders in custody and help them prepare for work on release. The role involves working with people serving custodial sentences to engage them in learning, training and employment opportunities so they’re ready to start a new life on release and break the cycle of reoffending.

Qualifications
* Confident and proactive
* Good communicator with a non‑judgemental approach
* Comfortable working on databases and strong attention to detail
* Experience helping offenders or other vulnerable groups to move forward in their lives
* Ability to connect with people, work in a prison environment, embrace quality and compliance requirements, and work towards individual targets
Benefits and Contract
* 37.5-hour working week with flexitime and possibility to recover extra hours
* Salary between £26,485 and £30,012, plus reimbursement for additional travel beyond the main base of work
* 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with an extra 6 days per year for staff with longer service
We will provide all the training you need to do the job and to get established in the new role. Our teams are supportive and friendly towards new starters to help them settle into the job.
