About This Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and flexible team player for the role of Senior Cover Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Cover Supervisor you will provide cover across the academy, ensuring the safety and well‑being of all pupils, maintaining classroom management standards, and supporting teaching and learning. You’ll also play a key role in safeguarding and child protection, participating in regular training and ensuring you are familiar with KCSIE Part 1 and local policies.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
* Is enthusiastic and inspiring with excellent classroom management skills
* Has relevant experience of working with and supporting primary aged pupils
* Can promote positive values and attitudes within the classroom
* Understands their role in safeguarding and protecting children
Requirements
All staff must be able to act when they have concerns about a child, take responsibility for creating a safe environment, undertake regular safeguarding and child‑protection training, and keep up to date with national safeguarding guidance and local policy.
