Protocol Education is assisting a dynamic and ambitious secondary school in London to recruit a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher.

Our client, a forward-thinking secondary school within a respected academy trust, is seeking a committed Mathematics Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is determined to raise attainment and spark a love of learning.


About the Role:

* Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that motivate and inspire students across all key stages.

* Set high expectations for progress and achievement, ensuring all pupils are supported and stretched.

* Plan well-structured, responsive lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.

* Use assessment and data effectively to identify areas for intervention and provide constructive feedback.

* Establish a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils can thrive.

* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice, contribute to enrichment activities, and participate in trips, clubs, and school events.

* Play an active role in departmental development, including assessment planning, moderation, and curriculum review.

* Engage in ongoing professional development to refine and enhance teaching practice.


What We’re Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.

* A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.

* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.

* Evidence of excellent teaching practice and a commitment to raising attainment.

* Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

* Experience of supporting students through GCSE and/or A-Level examinations.

* A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.

* A genuine passion for education and a belief in the potential of every pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
