My client, an award-winning, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician (Infrastructure and Drainage) to join their already-established team of engineering and design experts, in the lively Capital City of Cardiff.
Essential Criteria:
1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
2. Extensive working knowledge of the practice, details, methods, and materials applied in the construction industry
3. Excellent understanding of the design process, including stages of work, deliverables, and the technical approval processes
4. Experience of preparing 3D levels and earthworks and drainage models, highways alignment, sections, schedules, and details
5. Demonstrable experience of having produced Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and drainage strategy/design
6. Good knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S278, S38, S104, etc.), and their respective applications within the industry
7. Working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3d, InfoDrainage, etc.

8. Experience of creating 2D models
As a Senior Civil Engineering Technician (Infrastructure and Drainage), you will join a growing team of dedicated engineering specialists, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region. 9. Taking ownership of document control, including project information and data
10. Preparing a range of 3D models and 2D drawings
11. Contributing to projects including highways, drainage, and other infrastructure projects
12. Utilising a range of software packages (including Revit, Civils3D, InfoDrainage, etc.) to produce models
13. Preparing technical submission packages, with reference to the relevant Section Agreements
14. Leading a team of engineers in the delivery of projects, from initial conception through to successful delivery
15. Liaising with a range of clients and stakeholders, across the public and private sectors
16. Managing aspects of projects, adhering to industry standards, designated budgets, and agreed timelines
