We are looking for someone to join our fantastic nursingteam as a Healthcare Assistant working 26.5 hours per week over 3 days (Monday,Tuesday & Thursday).
Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients of the Practice either at our site in Dedworth or Eton. Reporting to the nursing staff, your role involves undertaking clinical procedures such as venepuncture, blood pressure measurements, ECGs, basic injections, wound care assessment and undertaking a range of health assessments. The role will also involve administration such as stock control and ordering. Your core skills in patient care should be complemented by effective communication and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

We are a 2 site GP Practice based in Windsor and Etonlooking after 14,000 patients in total. Our Windsor site is based in Dedworthin a modern purpose built premesis. Our Eton site is quite different and set inan Old Church.
We have a great team of both clinical and clerical staffwith 4 GP Partners, 8 Salaried GPs, 1 GP Retainer, 1 Advanced Paramedic, 4Nurses, 1 Nurse Asscoiate and 1 Healthcare Assistant and a range of clinicalstaff based with us employed by the Primary Care Network. We have a strongadministrative and reception team and all are focused on providing the bestcare possible to our patients.
Job responsibilities
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic nursing team. This is a part-time position working 26.5 hours per week across three days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) at either our Dedworth or Eton practice sites.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing and clinical team by delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will carry out a variety of clinical procedures and assist in maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment.
Person Specification
Experience
* Proven experience as a Health Care Assistant or similar role
* Experience in the clinical procedures listed above
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
* Experience in a General Practice setting
* Proficient in IT for documentation and reporting purposes
