Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor – Lewes
Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm. No weekends.
Full-time: PIP and WCA; Part-time: WCA only.
Salary
* PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £47,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10 % performance bonus per year.
* WCA Assessor (5–6 shorter assessments per day): £50,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10 % performance bonus per year.
Hours
* Full-time (WCA/PIP): Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm.
* Part-time (WCA only): 0.6 FTE (3 days) or 0.8 FTE (4 days). PT must work Friday and can choose the remaining days.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face‑to‑face).
* Review medical evidence and daily living impact.
* Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
* Make objective recommendations based on evidence.
* This is an assessment‑focused role – no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
12‑week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing. You will receive full support before working independently.
Who We’re Looking For
* Registered Adult Nurses (NMC).
* Occupational Therapists (HCPC).
* Physiotherapists (HCPC).
* Paramedics (HCPC) – PIP only.
* Pharmacists (GPhC) – PIP only.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in an adult setting.
* At least 1 year active registration.
* Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
* Confident IT and typing skills.
* Sponsorship not available.
