Overview
Area Sales Engineer Industrial Electrical Connection Solutions, Switchgear, Power Distribution and ATEX Products. Salary: GBP 45K - GBP 55K including bonus and additional benefits (car, pension, health insurance, mobile, laptop). 25 days Annual Leave plus Statutory Holidays.
Our client, a leading global manufacturer of high quality connection solutions for the industrial electrical sector, has a requirement for an Area Sales Engineer with sales experience in the electrical industrial marketplace to manage the sales territory across the Eastern Region of England. You will be building upon existing accounts alongside all new business development, and maintaining and further developing the relationships with distribution partners in your territory, selling the Company’s full portfolio of high quality industrial electrical connection solutions, control stations and ATEX products to the Industrial sector across a wide range of applications, via End Users, OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, distributors, and wholesale resellers across all industry sectors.
Responsibilities
* Manage the sales territory across the Eastern Region of England, building upon existing accounts and pursuing new business development.
* Develop and maintain relationships with distribution partners; sell the company’s portfolio of industrial electrical connection solutions, control stations and ATEX products.
* Target End Users, OEMs, System Integrators, Panel Builders, distributors and wholesale resellers across all industry sectors.
Qualifications/Experience
* Technical sales background in electrical products and components, ideally within the Electrical Industrial sector, with experience selling to consultants, major contractors and through to order.
* Experience in identifying projects and industry sector targets, achieving specification or preferred supplier status.
* Ability to illustrate experience and technical ability in the controls industry and components; commercial flair in the sector as described.
* Ideal candidates are based in or near Milton Keynes, Northampton, Leicester, Derby, Nottinghamshire or similar; territory extends from Yorkshire to Hertfordshire and east to the coast. Home-based/field-based role.
* Technical qualifications likely in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or equivalent experience in the Electrical sector.
