The vacancy Join Our Team as a Disrepair Coordinator! Contract : Permanent Hours : 40 hours per week Location(s) : Wolverhampton Are you experienced in property repairs and maintenance with a keen eye for legal detail? We are looking for a proactive and organised Disrepair Coordinator to join our team. As the Disrepair Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for receiving formal property disrepair claims and environmental health hazard notifications. You will manage these cases from start to finish-working closely with the Disrepair Surveyor and wider support teams to coordinate timely and effective responses. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with statutory timescales and procedures, particularly in line with the Housing Disrepair Protocol. Your work will contribute directly to the quality and safety of our housing services. What we're looking for: We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of housing disrepair processes and relevant legislation, as well as: Knowledge of disrepair legislation and the Housing Disrepair Protocol. Experience in repairs and maintenance service delivery. Experience using Microsoft excel Understanding of landlord and tenant law, including leaseholder consultation requirements. Strong IT and data analysis skills. Ability to interpret and apply legal terminology within housing disrepair cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
