Sports Co-Ordinator
Part time - 22.5 hours per week/Term Time Only
£12,526.61 per annum (£24,191 FTE)
Franklin College is seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Co-Ordinator to lead the planning, delivery, and promotion of our sport and health programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a dynamic and inclusive offer that supports students’ personal development, wellbeing, and progression.
The Role
1. Coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of competitive and recreational sport, both onsite and offsite
2. Plan inclusive, engaging sessions that support physical wellbeing, mental health, and key life skills
3. Promote sport-related enrichment using social media and at college events
4. Organise and support college representation at local, regional and national competitions
5. Build strong partnerships with internal teams (Sport, Admissions, Marketing, School Liaison)
6. Support school engagement events, parents' evenings and open days
7. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion through accessible sporting opportunities
8. Contribute to safeguarding and ensure all activities are delivered safely and responsibly
9. You will play a key role in embedding student voice into everything you deliver and evaluating the impact of the programme.

11. Energetic, motivated and confident leading student groups
12. Skilled at building relationships and inspiring participation
13. Experienced in planning, delivering and evaluating sports/enrichment activities
14. Able to use social media effectively to engage students
15. Organised, adaptable and comfortable working independently
16. Committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and personal development
You will need:
17. A relevant sporting, coaching or health qualification
18. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
Desirable qualifications:
19. Mental health-related or additional coaching qualifications
20. Knowledge of the local community and barriers to participation
21. Clean Driving Licence (willingness to drive a minibus)
