Your role

* Provide direct oversight on-site to ensure safe systems of work, quality controls, and proper construction sequencing are consistently implemented.
* Serve as the on‑site representative, acting as the project's conscience with respect to safety, quality, and technical compliance at all times.
* Ensure all activities adhere to NR/L2/OHS/044 – Planning and Managing Construction Works, including full compliance with Safe System of Work Packs (SSWP) and associated requirements.
* Verify Sentinel competence and confirm that Safe Work Packs accurately reflect prevailing site conditions and are briefed in accordance with NR/L2/OHS/044 standards.
* Monitor and manage welfare provisions in line with CDM 2015, ensuring that all duties of the Principal Contractor under Regulation 13 are fully met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Record progress against planned works, identify variances between planned and actual performance, and agree on corrective actions as required.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, subcontractors, multi‑disciplinary teams, and contractors to support smooth project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards for installation works, identify improvement opportunities, and support AtkinsRéalis' commitment to continuous improvement.
* Monitor technical requirements, ensure subcontractor adherence to quality plans, address site technical issues, support the management of variations and contract claims, and participate in safety meetings and briefings.
* Conduct inspections and audits of work sites, review records and procedures, verify contractor compliance with assurance cases, HSQE plans, work package plans, task briefs, and risk assessments, and ensure timely dissemination of relevant information to staff and subcontractors.

About You
