Role Overview
The role involves providing and promoting safe, effective clinical care for newborns across the service, working in partnership with individuals, families, carers, and stakeholders. It requires advanced knowledge and skills to make complex autonomous decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment of newborns.
The successful candidate will act as an inspirational leader and role model, delivering high standards of clinical care responsive to the needs of service provision and users. They will advocate for and contribute to a positive learning culture, enabling continuous development and improvement in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engage with local systems, processes, quality improvement collaborations, and key change drivers to facilitate service evaluation and practice development.
