Position: Assistant Manager Location: The Lighthouse Bar & Kitchen, Mumbles, Swansea Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role As our Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the bar and kitchen. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead a motivated team, ensure smooth operations, and deliver a consistently outstanding experience to our customers—whether they’re here for a casual coffee, a weekend cocktail, or a full dining experience. We also have a popular events space overlooking the bay where you would support the manager to ensure our guests have the best experience possible. Your Responsibilities Support and deputise for the General Manager Lead by example on the floor and behind the bar Manage rotas, stock control, and supplier orders Train and support team members to maintain high service standards Handle customer feedback with confidence and professionalism Help organise and deliver events, seasonal offers, and promotions What We’re Looking For Previous supervisory or management experience in a hospitality environment A natural leader with excellent communication and people skills Organised, reliable, and confident under pressure A strong understanding of food and drink service (including cocktails/barista skills a bonus!)
