The role operates under a 7-day flexible shift working pattern.
Role Description
1. Working under supervision to take responsibility for preparing and conducting of the routine diagnostic tests using T-SPOT technology.
2. Be responsible for identifying and raising any issues or concerns with allocated work that may cause a service delay, ensuring that any issues are communicated to the line manager or supervisor in a timely manner.
3. Assist with the resolution of analytical issues as they occur.
4. With assistance from more senior staff, prioritise workload to ensure key targets and objectives are met on time.
5. Performing duties in other departments, on an occasional basis, to meet critical Company objectives as required.
6. Achieve competency in the T-SPOT techniques including manual and automated processing.
7. Follow company and departmental Health and Safety Policies at all times.
8. The role will require flexible working on Saturdays and Sundays.
9. Working to the Company Values at all times.
Role Requirements
Essential qualifications, skills, and abilities
10. BSc/foundation/diploma qualification or equivalent experience, preferably in a life sciences discipline
11. Knowledge of Windows and Office based applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
12. Ability to organise and prioritise work loads
13. Previous work experience in a laboratory environment
Desirable Technical skills and abilities
14. An understanding of the healthcare, diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industries
15. Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements including GcP and ISO systems
