Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Yeovil on a full-time supply basis (32 hours per week). This rewarding role involves supporting pupils aged 4 to 18 who have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex additional needs. You will work under the guidance of experienced teachers to help create a stable, supportive and engaging learning environment, enabling pupils to reach their individual learning and personal development goals. Students in this specialist setting may have a range of needs, including: Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Physical disabilities and complex medical needs, Communication and interaction difficulties and Social, emotional and behavioural challenges Support is provided both 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and build independence.
