Residential Support Worker - Children and Young People\nNorthampton\nSalary - £13-£14 per hour\nWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Residential Support Worker for a SEMH residential children's home in Northampton. You will play a crucial role in the day-to-day care and support of the residents, working to ensure their safety, well-being, and personal development.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in the home.\n * Build positive relationships with residents, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.\n * Support the emotional, social, and educational development of the children and young people.\n * Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, personal care, and recreational activities.\n * Promote and encourage positive behaviour and independence.\n * Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.\n * Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure the best outcomes for the residents.\n * Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.\nRequirements:\n * Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.\n * A relevant qualification in social care, childcare, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce).
