One of Exeter's top law firms are recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy and successful property team. The firm are ideally looking for someone with previous experience of working within a conveyancing department, to now provide an essential support to the team's fee earners, while dealing with general administration. This role will include file management in conjunction with the fee earners, which will include regular contact with third parties and external bodies, such as estate agents, surveyors, brokers etc. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading law firms in the South West!
Tasks will include:
* Opening and closing files
* Client liaison
* Dealing with correspondence and enquiries
* Exchanging contracts and completing transactions
* Supporting fee earners with general administration
* Liaising with external parties to help progress files
* and much more!
Skills and experience required:
* Ideally have previous conveyancing experience, either from a legal or other-sector background
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills
* Good computer skills, including typing skills
* Enthusiastic and articulate approach
Hours and Benefits:
