We are currently looking for a Building Surveyor. You will be working in Southampton (SO14) Monday - Friday 09:00am - 16:00pm Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - £29.13ph umbrella Job Purpose To assist with the management of a professional, customer focused building maintenance service in order to deliver a safe and reliable environment which will fulfil the current and future requirements of the organisation. Main Duties To undertake and coordinate building maintenance projects within the terms of funding agreements / service specifications for Capital Assets To deliver the service within budget and in accordance with prescribed standards and timescales To arrange for the works to be carried out and supervise them in order to ensure compliance with specifications, monitoring the contractors performance and undertaking such inspections as may be necessary To participate in meetings and working groups as requested and undertake any work necessary to implement corporate or directorate initiatives To form effective relationships with Members, Tenants, Leaseholders and their representatives throughout the organisation Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
