About the Role:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons for students working toward Functional Skills qualifications in English, Maths, and ICT.
1. Provide tailored support to meet individual learning needs, with a focus on SEND and SEMH students.
2. Help students build confidence and achieve the skills they need for further education, employment, and life.
3. Adapt teaching strategies to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
What Were Looking For:
4. Experience in teaching or tutoring Functional Skills at Level 1 and Level 2, with a particular focus on SEND and SEMH learners.
5. A proactive and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
6. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and ICT.
7. Experience using specialised teaching strategies and interventions for SEND and SEMH students.
8. A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
