We’re just over three years old, but as an ambitious and growing team (100% growth YoY) and business (300% growth YoY), we bring together exceptional client service and experience to achieve influence at the scale of a big agency, with the passion of a boutique.

The Role

As an Associate Account Director, you’ll bring together all of our cross functional teams across Strategy, Organic Social, Influencer & Paid Social to deliver industry-leading work for our client roster of change-makers across both retainers and projects. You’ll be confident in executing social-first strategies and outputs to build best-in-class client relationships. You'll play a key role alongside the senior leadership team in defining best practices for both project delivery, client relationships and team development to ensure we deliver at our best.

Client Leadership & Relationship Building

* Act as the strategic lead across assigned client accounts, driving forward long-term value, retention, and growth.
* Build trusted, collaborative relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their goals and aligning agency output to meet them.
* Champion a proactive client service approach - ensuring consistent communication, clarity, and responsiveness.

Strategic Oversight & Delivery Excellence

* Lead the development and execution of social-first strategies that blend creative, cultural, and performance goals.
* Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Influencer, Organic and Paid Social teams to deliver high-impact, insight-led campaigns.
* Ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and on brief - upholding operational and creative excellence at every touchpoint.

Commercial & Operational Acumen

* Own financial performance across accounts - including forecasting, budget control, and commercial decision-making.
* Ensure scope, timelines, and deliverables are clear, tracked, and aligned with client expectations and internal resource.
* Identify and capitalise on opportunities for organic growth or upsell across your client portfolio.

Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Mentor and support Account Managers, Executives and cross-disciplinary team members - setting expectations, nurturing talent, and driving performance.
* Contribute to a positive and empowered team culture by championing collaboration, problem-solving, and feedback.
* Work closely with the senior leadership team to define best practices for delivery, process, and client management.

Innovation, Culture & Agency Contribution

* Stay ahead of platform, cultural, and audience trends- bringing fresh thinking and relevance to client work.
* Contribute to agency thought leadership, case studies, and new business initiatives when required.
* Help shape and evolve our ways of working, tools, and documentation to drive clarity, creativity, and consistency.

Who we're looking for:

* Min 5-7 years’ experience working within a social media agency.
* Project manager & organisational juggler: You're a master of organization and getting things done flawlessly, keeping complex campaigns on track and teams humming
* Client lover: You quickly forge genuine client connections, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to expert.
* Team player: You love to mentor and develop your junior team but know how to manage upwards too
* Profitability & Planner: You know a rate card from a scope of work and how to balance the two
* Integrator: You know how to integrate teams to make the magic happen (Strategy, Production, Paid, Influencer)
* Quality controller: You know what good looks like (and bad). Your standards are high, and your eye for detail is sharp.
* Creativity inspirer: You are always on the lookout for inspiration to share with the team
* Trend Hunter: You are on top of trends and innovations and apply these to your clients
* Analytical: Expert in social analytics and acting on intelligence and insights to improve performance
* Attention to detail: You don’t do typos.
* Storyteller: presentation writing, persuasive presenting and new business proposals are a superpower
