We are looking for an in-house Finance Manager to play a key role within our finance Team. This position is responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely management information, ensuring that we meet our statutory obligations along with developing and supporting a dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
* Acting as a business partner to budget holders within Lyle & Scott, identifying areas for improvement and providing challenge as well as support to ensure that the business achieves its objectives
* Compliance with statutory reporting requirements, ensuring deadlines are met (UK and EU VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, P11Ds, PAYE/NI, corporation tax to name a few)
* Managing, training and development of the finance teams to ensure the maintenance of complete and accurate financial data, ensuring errors are identified and corrected on a timely basis.
* Supporting the Head of Finance in producing the monthly Board pack, budgets and forecasts and with creating a high performing business support team
* Supporting the annual audit and acting as a key liaison with the auditors during the audit process
* Providing financial information to our external stakeholders (e.g. banks, investors)
Qualifications / Experience:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* 3+ years in a similar role
* Excellent Excel skills
* Experience leading and developing teams
* Self-disciplined and proactive team player
* Experience of wholesale and omni-channel, while not a requirement, would be an advantage
* Experience of SAP by Design would be an advantage
