PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GHS, REACH, OSHA, and country-specific requirements.
* Ensure product labels contain accurate and up-to-date safety and regulatory information, meeting all applicable chemical compliance standards.
* Respond to customer and R&D inquiries regarding product safety, chemical regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Monitor and interpret global product compliance regulations, implementing necessary updates to SDSs, labels, and internal processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, R&D, EHS, and commercial teams, to support product compliance initiatives.
* Maintain compliance databases and documentation, ensuring records are accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, or a related field, with experience in chemical product compliance.
* Proven experience in SDS authoring and product labeling, with knowledge of GHS, REACH, TSCA, CLP, and other global chemical regulations.
* Understanding of chemical hazard classification and experience with regulatory databases and compliance software.
* Experience responding to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
