Production Supervisor
Day-to-day of the role
* Plan and oversee daily production schedules using SAP and related ERP/MRP systems.
* Coordinate daily planning activities with Production Crew Leads, Supervisors, and Senior Crew.
* Work closely with other department heads to improve operational efficiency.
* Maintain and update lead times, communicating any changes across departments.
* Implement and monitor good manufacturing practices, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
* Utilise demand forecasts to optimise production efficiency.
* Manage urgent customer requests and integrate them into production schedules where feasible.
* Supervise preventative and corrective maintenance of machinery and utilities.
* Coordinate with external technicians or contractors when necessary.
* Assist with scheduling work shifts and monitor team performance.
* Promote high morale and communicate the company's operating policies, customer issues, and safety measures.
* Foster a positive, safety-first culture within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Proficient IT skills and knowledge of SAP (desirable).
* Hands‑on, detail‑focused, resilient, and proactive.
* Practical, organised, and results‑oriented.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and delegate when appropriate.
