Reference: 9f4b5cd6 PA Support Worker – Home Support Role (15 hours per week, £14/hour) Tuesday / Saturday / Sunday – 5 hours per day We are looking for a patient, supportive and encouraging PA Support Worker to assist a 45-year-old man with sensory impairment, epilepsy and short-term memory loss in developing life skills and maintaining independence at home. This role is focused on empowerment, building confidence and supporting him with day-to-day practical skills, not doing everything for him, but guiding him to do things with support. What the role includes: • Supporting him to prepare simple meals and learn basic cooking skills • Helping him use household appliances such as the washing machine • Taking him to purchase essential personal care items • Light shopping trips • Supporting hobbies and interests at home • Domestic tasks on Sundays: cleaning, ironing, laundry and general organisation • Encouraging independence wherever possible This is a calm, home-based role, ideal for someone who is reliable, patient and naturally encouraging.
