GSL Education are seeking a committed SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school in the Killamarsh area. As an SEMH Teacher, you will: Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges. Develop and implement individual education and behaviour support plans. Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to provide holistic support. Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents/carers. Ensure a consistent focus on safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion. Requirements for SEMH Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience working with pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each pupil. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
