Early Years Educator Level 3
Ditcham Park School, just outside of Petersfield, is an independent school for students up to the age of 16. Situated on top of the South Downs with spectacular views across Hampshire, it is an idyllic place for young minds to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Dragonflies at Ditcham is an all-year-round day nursery for children from 6 months to school age. Located in a separate building from the main school and operating as a standalone nursery, Dragonflies at Ditcham is a boutique nursery of exceptional quality. Each day, up to 24 children enjoy the newly refurbished setting, surrounded by open spaces to explore, grow, and flourish.
The successful candidate will help create an environment where each child's imagination and creativity are nurtured, and where the magic of childhood comes alive every day. Dragonflies at Ditcham is a true home-from-home for many children.
Working alongside Room Leaders, Early Years Educators will:
* Fulfil any duties required to meet children's individual needs and support the nursery's objectives.
* Deliver the nursery's curriculum and provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow.
* Follow the requirements and standards set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure children learn and develop well while being kept healthy and safe.
* Adhere to and role model best practice in safeguarding.
* Provide professional and high-quality customer service to families and visitors to the setting.
To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must demonstrate:
* A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or equivalent nursery experience
* Good working knowledge of the EYFS
* Good working knowledge of safeguarding requirements
* Experience of working in a busy team environment
* Experience of delivering high-quality customer service
