HR Assistant – Cumbria Education Trust
Including HR, Payroll and Pensions Service
Location: Ideally based in our Southern Hub (supporting Southern schools)
Salary: Min £25,898, dependent on experience
Contract: Up to 37 hours (flexible and term-time options considered)

What You’ll Do
As HR Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering efficient and effective HR support, including:
* Coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes
* Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
* Supporting payroll and absence management
* Assisting with employee relations and policy queries
* Liaising with school leaders and staff across the Southern Hub
* Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiative.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Experienced in HR or administration (school experience desirable but not essential)
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities
* A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* IT literate and comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office
* Committed to confidentiality and professional standards
