The Impact you will have:
1. Deliver High standards of Service Delivery to Briggs customers.
2. Follow transport plan as provided by the transport planning team. – Microlise / Ortec
3. Requirement to work out of hours and overnight stays including working from other Briggs locations when required
4. Adhering to all Transport legislation – current and future
5. Daily defect reporting of vehicle defects using mobile compliance application – (Convey)
6. Accurate record keeping and use of Tachograph.
7. Responsible for obtaining signed POD / POC by means of Smart POD application and / or Transport documents.
8. Responsible for Self - loading of vehicle by means of drive on / drive off of equipment.
9. Responsible for securing of Load by means of Ratchet straps, Chains etc to ensure goods are transported safely.
10. Responsible for checking equipment to be loaded aligns with Transport documentation / mobile work device, reporting any discrepancies to line Manager / Transport planner.
