THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SIEM Engineer to join our innovative team at Inzpire LTD.
Leveraging your deep expertise in SIEM, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams for fault resolution and to support product design, ensuring that solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and security.
As a Level 4 SIEM Engineer you will be working as part of a small multi‑skilled engineering team supporting the delivery of a secure mission critical Communication Information System. You will be based onsite at RAF Leeming Mon‑Fri 8‑5 as well as providing out of hours support as part of an on‑call rota.
THE PERSON
* Significant hands‑on experience in SIEM engineering, with a focus on large‑scale enterprise environments.
* Proven experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk (preferred), LogRhythm, AlienVault or MS System Centre is essential.
* Proven experience with telemetry collection, including Open Telemetry and Telegraf.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, GCFE or similar).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl).
* Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues in a timely manner.
* Proactive and self‑motivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
* A collaborative mindset, with the ability to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.
Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
