This is a great opportunity to join a growing business with a people‑first attitude, expanding from 370 to 550 customers in 2025, with growth plans to reach 700 by the end of 2026. This role plays a pivotal part in this expansion with the foundation and opportunity well set.
Job Purpose
You’ll be part of a small team responsible for sales and retention activity across our Unify by Bruntwood Cleaning business. You’ll be working closely with our Senior Commercial Manager to ensure we maximise all internal enquiries and support with our exciting plans for external growth.
What We’re Looking For
* Sales experience in a commercially focused business; we’re open to all industries, but business‑to‑business sales would be preferential.
* Someone keen to move into a more consultative role that’s less about constant targets and more about quality and relationship building/management.
* Engaging, self‑motivated and trustworthy. Ability to work autonomously and drive your own pipeline once up to speed – with support of the Senior Commercial Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Proactively research and identify new customers, making direct contact with target companies, both through warm and cold approaches.
* Work alongside our commercial team to identify prospecting opportunities and devise and implement targeted campaigns to win new business.
* Regularly attend appropriate meetings, conveying a professional image of the company across defined contacts and partners, so that mutually beneficial relationships are established.
* Proactively manage incoming enquiries to ensure each customer receives a professional experience through the enquiry, negotiation and contracting stage.
* Visit customer sites with the Operations team to meet customers and discuss their cleaning requirements in person.
* Learn our systems and processes to enable you to send quotes to customers and answer any questions or queries they ask.
* Build good working relationships with other members of the Unify team to help with the sale process – including Area Managers, our mobile team and office‑based colleagues.
* Take an interest and learn about contract cleaning so that you understand who our competition is, where they work and the services they provide.
