Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager – London We're looking for a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager to join our London Highways team based in London. Location: Union Street, London with travel to local depots required and some remote working Hours: Permanent, Full-time 40 hours per week – flexible options available just let us know We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role Come and join our London Highways team as a Safety, Health and Environmental Manager and play a vital role in creating safer, healthier and more sustainable working environments across our highways projects. You'll be supporting teams across multiple sites, ensuring compliance whilst fostering a positive safety culture that protects our people and the communities we serve. What will you be responsible for? As a Safety, Health and Environmental Manager, you'll be working within the London Highways team, supporting them in delivering excellent health, safety and environmental performance across all operations. Your day to day will include: Leading SHE activities across London sites, ensuring legal compliance and best practice standards Developing and implementing SHE strategies that improve performance and create positive outcomes Conducting site inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk reduction Coaching and mentoring operational teams to embed a strong safety culture throughout the business Managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems whilst collaborating with clients on innovative solutions What we are looking for? This role of SHE Manager is for someone who has: IOSH membership and a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety Proven experience in a similar SHE role with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards Experience in temporary traffic management and highways projects Rewards and benefits We're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
