Salary: £33,141.11 - £36,353.82 (Actual Salary)
Working Pattern: Permanent role, 37 hrs per week – Monday to Friday, Term Time plus 10 days.

Role Overview
Lead Learning Manager will manage a team of five Learning Managers, each responsible for the pastoral and academic progress of a year group. The role ensures clear purpose and vision, aligning students’ support with attainment goals, while providing strategic and operational leadership for welfare and safeguarding.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 5 Learning Managers, overseeing pastoral and academic progress of year groups.
* Communicate clear purpose and vision to maximise student attainment.
* Take strategic and operational lead for the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
* Promote positive behaviour and attitude across the academy, ensuring compliance with the Positive Behaviour for Learning and Life policy.
* Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead under the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
* Coordinate multi‑agency support and act as a trusted point of contact for families.
* Manage safeguarding concerns and referrals, including referral to children’s social care, Channel, Disclosure and Barring Service or police, and support staff through the referral process.
* Maintain detailed, accurate and secure safeguarding records in line with academy policy and statutory guidance.
* Ensure strong safeguarding procedures for vulnerable students accessing Alternative Provision with other providers.
