Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and pipefitting, with the ability to read and interpret schematics, perform various welding techniques, and carry out maintenance tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure high-quality installations and repairs.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
* Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate installations.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and installation processes.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion.
* Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing all tasks.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing and pipefitting work.
* Familiarity with soldering techniques for joining pipes.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
* Ability to assemble various components of plumbing systems accurately.
