Outdoor Education Centre Manager
Excell Supply are proud to be recruiting for a fantastic Outdoor Education provider in Manchester. They provide outdoor adventure experiences for individuals, families, and schools across five activity centres. They offer a diverse range of water-based and land-based activities, making outdoor education both engaging and rewarding.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and driven Centre Manager to lead the Sports Centre into its next stage of development. Ideally located in the North West—between the Peak District, North Wales, and the Lake District—the centre has great transport links and serves a broad community.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead & manage the on-site team to ensure high-quality outdoor adventure sessions.
2. Oversee the development & growth of the Sports Centre.
3. Contribute to the expansion, including new developments and centres.
4. Assist in staff training & in-house activity sign-off.
5. Work with the Operations Manager to recruit and onboard staff as needed.
6. Support the development & maintenance of activity safety documentation & processes.
7. Manage site-specific safety procedures, ensuring compliance.
8. Oversee the management & upkeep of buildings, land, and equipment.
What We’re Looking For
1. Experience in outdoor education at a senior level (e.g., Senior Instructor, Deputy Manager, or Manager).
2. Recognised qualifications & experience in outdoor adventure sports.
3. Outdoor First Aid Qualification (minimum 16 hours).
4. Full UK driving license.
5. Proven management experience in a similar role.
