My client are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-performing squad driving the next evolution of our cloud-based data platform. This is a leadership opportunity within a growing data engineering team where you’ll help design, build, and deliver scalable AWS data solutions while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of AWS data components, including Firehose, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, and Quicksight.
* Support junior engineers through technical guidance, mentoring, and task leadership.
* Collaborate with cloud architects to evolve our MVP data platform toward a full-scale enterprise architecture.
* Deliver and manage Terraform-coded pipelines, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure as code.
* Drive Python and SQL development for complex data engineering tasks, optimizing performance and scalability.
What We’re Looking For:
* Expertise in AWS core data services and Terraform pipeline delivery.
* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for cloud-based data engineering.
* Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud data architectures.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions and present ideas clearly.
* Flexibility and openness to change; able to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
