The role:
1. Managing day-to-day logistics administration and supporting operational processes
2. Entering and maintaining accurate data on internal systems
3. Communicating with customers via telephone and email
4. Completing track and trace processes and updating internal systems
5. Preparing dispatch documentation, airway bills, invoices and shipping paperwork
6. Producing labels and documentation for courier, freight and shipping services
7. Supporting with filing, paperwork management and general office duties
8. Assisting colleagues with logistics queries and operational support
9. Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and GDP SOPs
The successful candidate:
10. Previous logistics experience essential
11. Experience working with ERP and TMS systems preferred
12. Knowledge of freight documentation, customs entries and dangerous goods advantageous
13. Experience within sea, air and road freight beneficial
14. Fast and accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail
15. Excellent communication and organisational skills
16. Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
17. Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment
