Specsavers in Blackburn are looking to grow their team and are looking for a new Dispensing Optician to join the Dispensing Opticians to support. You will be working with a great wider team also and the focus is to give patients the best experience.
Role Responsibilities
You will be running a specialist clinic at Specsavers Blackburn. You will predominantly look after concerns, so if a patient is struggling with their sight you will support them with this. The team are very social and love to get out together, most recently the team have been out go karting, crystal maze experience and meditation, as well as celebrating Eid and having a book club. There is also fresh fruit delivered regularly and food available if you’ve forgotten your lunch as well as a lounge with a TV and staff room for quieter breaks. Most importantly there’s a coffee machine for you to enjoy those Latte's! With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and would love to hear what your ideal working week looks like so we can work with you to accommodate this as best as possible.

Required Qualifications
We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding on both the optics and audiology customer journeys. You must have excellent listening and communication skills, be passionate about providing top-notch customer service, and be a great team worker.
