The Role
As Demand Manager at Safran Electrical & Power in Pitstone, you will own the consolidation of the overall sales and operations requirements, have them validated, and ensure their consistency to provide a reliable set of data for the monthly S&OP.
* Establish and validate the sales requirement (orders + forecasts) for all programmes across the business
* Model the sales forecasts and support the annual Medium Term Plan exercise.
* Analyse sales trends and identify key short to medium term drivers.
* Analysis of variance to determine & implement corrective actions.
* Compilation and publication of visual metrics, presentations and reports.
* Lead the monthly Demand Review and Validation meetings and support the S&OP manager
* Maintain ERP Demand Stability and Forecast accuracy.
* Implement any agreed changes into the plan which is then delivered to the supply planners on a timely basis.

* Good knowledge and understanding of the MRP2 principles.
* Knowledge of indicator management dashboards, data management.
* Strong commercial awareness with clear understanding of the financial impact of forecasting and related decisions.
* Good knowledge of Information and management systems: SAP ERP, Supplier, Customer & Internal Portals, etc.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
* High level of accuracy/detail oriented. Know how to analyse a problem, summarise it and recommend solutions and challenge appropriately.
* Strong statistical and analytical skills. Be able to analyse and present the data from various
* information systems.
* Team player with strong people management skills.
* Qualified to degree level with relevant business qualification in the supply chain field.
