We are working with a well-established timber engineering manufacturer who are looking to strengthen their design team with another Roof Truss Designer. With a strong pipeline of work and part of a larger group, this is a great opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term progression and earning potential.
This is a full-time, office-based position, working closely with both internal teams and external clients on a range of timber engineering projects including roof trusses, metal-web joists and i-joists.
As a Roof Truss Designer, you will:
Produce technical, manufacturing and installation drawings
Prepare accurate estimates and quotations
Work closely with clients, architects and engineers to develop design solutions
Manage multiple live projects simultaneously
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customersWhat We're Looking For:
2+ years' experience within roof truss or timber engineering design
Understanding of structural design principles
Experience with MiTek, Wolf or Alpine is beneficial but not essential
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
